Safari payments
The itineraries are per our suggestion, but we do accept any programs to suite your holiday. It’s important that once you decide on your Safari or excursion you contact us to see the next available departure especially if you are intending to join a group. Group tours are usually cheaper but they have their own inconveniences like you have to decide on some things to suite others. I would highly recommend if you go on your own private safari which can depart with minimum of two Pax at your choice of time, this will be more comfortable if you inquire as a family or friends travelling together.
Once you inquire on Safari availability, upon our confirmation, we require you pay a deposit of 40% of the total amount through to our Bank transfer, then the balance you will pay on arrival before you depart for your Safari. Currently we pay park fees and most lodges fees with Dollars, therefore if possible we would appreciate the balance paid in dollars, otherwise the balance can be paid with any currency on your arrival, we will communicate on that before your departure from your destination.
Cancellation is possible 8 weeks before departure, deposit is protected. You have chance to change date of departure, and we can replan your safari if possible.
Cancellation on 14 or less days no refund on deposit paid.
Should you join Safari after departure or you fail to join or leave it prior to its completion, either by your own will, sickness or due to any other circumstances, no amount paid will be refunded. At some cases change of itinerary or lodges may involve additional cost on top of the early quotation of your safari.

We require minimum Baggage on your safari departure, but it depends on how many people.
You are sharing. The safari Van is designed to carry maximum 9 Pax, one seated with the driver and 8 Pax at the back, all get window seats, but most of our safaris have less clients on departure. However, you can leave behind with us or in your hotels what you feel you don’t need for your safari days. Also, most Airlines that go on safari routes take maximum of 15kg on total including your cameras.

It is the sole responsibility of clients to take care of their Baggage during the Safari and Kenyaodyssey will not be responsible for lost items or left over in the bus etc. Make sure that windows are closed when you leave or while at stop over places, to avoid the Monkeys searching your items.
