Responsibility and Consent...
Neither Kenyaodyssey nor any person or agent acting for, through or on behalf of the company, shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the afore-going,shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or ommissions contained in its brochure/website or any other literature,loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, theft, injury or death.
The company shall have at any time the right to cancel any safari or the remainder thereof or make alteration in route , accomodation, price or other details in the event of any safari being rendered impossible, illegal or inadvisable by weather, strikes, war, or any other unforseen circumstances, any extra expenses incured shall be the responsibility of the clients on safari.
The company may at its discretion and without liability or cost to itself, at any time cancel or terminate the guests booking and safari, in the event of illness or the illegal or incompatible behaviour of the clients, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund.
Payments of safaris deposit constitutes consent, whether the guests/clients have sighned the reservation form or not.
Most of the animals we come across on our parks are wild.Though they are used to presence of safaris vehilces etc, we recommend that you keep off direct contact with the animals including monkeys and all the wild life there. Kenyaodyssey, employees or any third party acting on behave of our company or patners, are not responsible for any injuries, illness or death caused by act of the animals or anything to do with during the booked safari itineraries
Safari Payments and Cancellation
The itineraries are per our suggestion, but we do accept any programes to suite your holiday. Its important that once you decide on your Safari or excursion you contact us to see the next available departure especially if you are intending to join a group. Group tours are usually cheaper but they have their own inconvieniences like you have to decide on some things to suite others. I would highly recommend if you go on your own private safari which can depart with minimum of two pax at your choice of time, this will be more comfortable if you inquire as a family or friends travelling together. once you inquire on Safari availability, upon our confirmation , we require you pay a deposit of 40% of the total amout through to our Bank transfer, then the balance you will pay on arrival before you depart for your Safari.Currently we pay park fees and most lodges fees with Dollars, therefore if possible we would appreciate the balance paid in dollars, otherwise the balance can be paid with any currency on your arrival, we will communicate on that before your departure from your destination. cancellation is possible 8 weeks before departure,deposit is protected. You have chance to change date of departure, and we can replan your safari if possible. cancellation on 14 or less days no refund on deposit paid. Should you join Safari after departure or you fail to join or leave it prior to its completion, either by your own will, sickness or due to any other circumstances, no amount paid will be refunded. At some cases change of itnerary or lodges may involve additional cost on top of they early quotation of your safari.
Health and insurance
Check with your country of origin before your departure, for innoculations or any precautions you need before your travel.
It is a responsibility of clients to arrange appropriet personal comprehensive travel for them, as well as any dependants, Medical insurance to cover their whole period of travel in Africa including the time on Safari booked with Kenyaodyssey.Insuarance to cover cancellation of safaris due to unavoidable circumstances eg.floods,illness,earthquakes,fire etc.All safari vehicles, we use have insurance cover as per kenyan regulations.
The company makes effort to adhere to schedules but it reserves the right and infact is obliged to occationally change safari routes and accomodation as dictated by changing conditions braught about by seasonal rainfall on park routes, Airfields in game areas,game migrations, airline and any other unforseen booking problems.
The company does its best to arrange Safari and accomodation availability as planned,but there shall be no claim of any nature whatsoever against the company for a refund either in the whole or part, if any accomodation or excursion is unavailable and a reasonable alternative is not found.
Air lines tickets issued shall constitute the sole contract between the Airlines and the purchaser or passengers.Note that we subcontract the flying services to independent charter Airline operators, who are responsible for everything pertaining to the passengers.We are also not responsible for any delays,or additional costs incurred as a result of airlines not running to schedule.
Lodges and Camps age limits:
If travelling with children, inform us on their age, so that we can advice you on properties which allow younger children.Walking and climbing mountain Safaris lower age limit of 12 and maximum of 75 or so depending on the difficulty of the walks involved.
Driver Guides/Tour Guides:
We have professionals who will go on Safari with you,they have experience and are willing to do their best to make your safaris memorable.You are free to interract with them on anything, they are there with you till the end of the safari.However the company have the right to change driver or guide due to illness or any unavoidable circumstances.
Apart from English, other language speaking drivers/guides are available on request.
